This happened to me
First time I had seen a picture of Crater Lake in Oregon and longed to go
Suddenly my family planned a birthday outing for me to Crater Lake National Park in October . I was excited beyond belief .
We planned a three day trip and stayed right on Crater Lake at Crater Lake Lodge . From seeing the early morning sunrise with clouds spilling over on the lake to wandering out to see the Milky Way in a dark sky place .!
And of course the stunning blue of the amazing Crater Lake with so many different viewpoints completely filled up our three days . Gave a jumpstart to my budding travel channel
